i am grateful for bed time.

there is nothing better than being exhausted and getting out of the shower and heading straight for the bed.

i love curling up in the corner with a nice warm bean bag on my feet and my alarm clock set.

simple notes that say so much with only three words.

i love you.

they can be from my mom, my grandma, my roommate, my bestfriend, or my lover.  

no matter who they are from a simple note telling me they love me and miss me can bring me to tears.

never miss an opportunity to tell someone you love them.

when you just need some alone time and you live in the dorms so you dont have a bathtub.

i am grateful for courtney oliver.

this little gem

we pass notes at work and make fun of each other.  she makes going to work bearable.  she facetimes me in the morning to wake me up. and she calls me carl.  she gets hickey's and i make fun of her for them. but then she says i have aids because i have kissed 19 boys.  we are the best of friends and she sexts me.  and i like it.

pruney fingers and toes

i am grateful for pruney fingers and toes.

although this seems like the weirdest and most random thing to be grateful for, i am still grateful.  if your fingers or toes have shriveled up like raisins that means you have been doing one of the following:

swimming

in the hot tube

taking a bath

playing in the ocean

all of the above are amazing things and therefore leads to me being grateful for the pruning of appendages.

i am grateful to be on time.

when you are in a rush and you think you are going to be horribly late, but you end up being on time or maybe even a little bit early.

car rides

i am grateful for car rides.

tonight valerie and i went with our bestie michelle to pick someone up from the airport. i'm so glad we could just talk the whole way and catch up on everyone's lives. just being in their company is good enough. we didn't have to talk the whole time but just knowing we were together two feet from each other was amazing and knowing if we got in a wreck at least we would all die together and we could hold hands as we entered heaven.
